All cables, whether intended for pulling, lifting,
extraction, traction, including people transport, are subject to numerous stresses and
numerous surface micro-contacts. Metal stretching, vibration phenomena, oscillations, torsion, rubbing and shocks.

When multi-threaded, the number of bundles reduces the area of contact with pulleys and drums. Anti-rotation cables limit torsion problems.

Internal lubrication can be provided by the manufacturer. Contrary to accepted ideas, internal lubricants are compatible with external lubricants most of the time.

NEOLUBE® OPEN GEAR is highly equipped with anti-wear additives, to strongly reduce wear on the cables, but also on the pulley grooves, which are the source of winding problems; regardless of their radii of curvature and the fatigue generated.

NEOLUBE® OPEN GEAR is highly extreme pressure resistant and reduces the risks of deformation during sudden loading of the cable. It contains sub-micron solid lubricants in order to guarantee, by absorption, safe lubrication on all surfaces of the bundles and wires.

NEOLUBE® OPEN GEAR is highly equipped with anti-corrosion additives, to comply with extreme external environments: cold, humidity, water spray, saline environments and intermittent or permanent immersion. Provides long-duration anti-corrosion protection for the storage of cables outside.
